<br />CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of February 14, 2005 - Regular Meeting <br />Page 13 of 14 <br /> <br />3) Michael McCane, 109 Carriage Hill Drive, submitted written comments pertaining to <br />commercial vehicle parking, which was read into the record. A copy of Mr. McCane's <br />written comments is attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />X. COMMISSION REPORTS/REQUESTS <br /> <br />Commissioner Susan Doerner - Seat # 1: <br /> <br />· Commended staff for the Fire Station 21 grand opening held February 4, 2005. <br />Commended staff for the Jazz and Art show held February 5, 2005. <br />· Noted Mrs. Crank (Crank Realty), long time City resident, recently passed away. <br /> <br />Commissioner Kathy Cook - Seat #2: <br /> <br />· Acknowledged a fire that occurred recently to residence on North Winter Park Drive which resulted <br />in two deaths. Requested special recognition of the neighbors who attempted to save the two fire <br />victims. <br />· Requested to only receive electronic copies of City Commission emails rather than hard copies. <br /> <br />Commissioner Colleen Hufford - Seat #4: <br /> <br />· Expressed appreciation for the opportunity to attend the Institute for Elected Municipal Officials <br />held in Gainesville January 21 - 23,2005. Stated the Institute was very informative. <br /> <br />Mayor Bob Goff - Seat #5: <br /> <br />Noted Tom Green has been elected Chairman of the Mayors/Managers Group. Further noted <br />Envision Seminole will coordinate the MayorslManagers Group. The ADA funding issue was <br />discussed. Other items discussed were fire and utility service area issues. <br />Noted he recently asked Paul Kelley to see ifhe can find a display case for the Parks & Recreation <br />Department. <br />Noted he was in receipt ofa request from Seminole County to give a State of the City address to be <br />taped and played on SGTV. Requested City Commission members submit items to be included in <br />the address to the City Manager. Commissioner Doerner voiced concerns regarding the Mayor's <br />comments made at the fire station opening function and wanted to make sure that the Mayor's <br />address is a reflection of the City Commission as a whole. <br /> <br />XI. STAFF REPORTS <br /> <br />Frank Clifton - City Manager: <br /> <br />Noted the draft agenda for the City Commission's March 7,2005 Workshop had been distributed. <br />
