<br />RESOLUTION 05-1552 <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY TO PURCHASE A SUTPHEN <br />TOWER/PLATFORM FIRE TRUCK; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Casselberry Florida, has received a grant for <br />the acquisition ofa Sutphen Tower/Platform fire Truck; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City staff believes the matching grant City funds to acquire this grant is in the best <br />interest of the City. <br /> <br />NOW THEREfORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY Of CASSELBERRY, fLORIDA, AS fOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION or'IE The City Commission authorizes staffro proceed with the purchase of <br />the Sutphen TowerlPlatfonn fire Truck through a cooperative purchase using Ft. Myers Beach Fire <br />COntrol District Contract with additions and deletions to meet the City's specifications; and <br /> <br />SECTION TWO <br /> <br />The funding for the Sutphen TowerlPlatform fire Truck is as follows: <br /> <br />Grant <br />2004/2005 Budget <br />Budget Amendment <br /> <br />$499,500.00 <br />55,500.00 <br />21.503.00 <br />$576,503.00 <br /> <br />SECTION THREE Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in contlict with <br />any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION FOUR Severability. Ifany Section or portion ofa Section of this Resolution <br />proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, <br />fO~ce, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br /> <br />SECTION FIVE Effective date.
