<br />CASSELBERRV CITV COMMISSION <br />Minutes of January 10, 2005 ~ Regular Meeting <br />Page 4 of 18 <br /> <br />Public Hearing: No audience comment request forms were received for Resolution 05-l 550. Mayor Goff <br />closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissioner Hufford moved to approve Resolution <br />05-1550 as presented. Motion was seconded by Vice <br />Mayor Hart. <br /> <br />Commission Discussion: Discussion ensued regarding buffers, density bonuses and potential impacts to <br />existing residents within the study area relating to more stringent rules associated with residential property <br />improvements and code enforcement. Commissioner Cook stated she still was concerned with placing <br />additional burdens relating to redevelopment on existing residents within the study area. Mayor Goff was <br />concerned with the language of Policy 4 relating to code enforcement within the study area. Mayor Goff <br />stated he was against pursuing code enforcement more diligently in one section of the City over any other <br />section, and identifying specific properties. Mr. Clifton stated the intent ofthe language was to ensure code <br />enforcement at the same level as all other parts of the City and suggested the following modification to <br />Policy 4: <br /> <br />"The City shall diligently pursue code e¡iforcement in the overlay district, consistent with <br />'tv ·d t d d " . /... / ' ,. PUBLIC HEARING AND SECOND READING OF ORDINANCE 04-1143 - LP A <br />04-08 - LARGE SCALE FUTURE LAND USE POLICY AMENDMENT - WEST <br />SIDE SMALL AREA STUDY OVERLAY DISTRICT POLICY <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 04-1143 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO AMEND THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY COMPREHENSWE PLAN, BY CREATING THE FUTURE <br />LAND USE ELEMENT POLICY 1.20; WESTSIDE SMALL AREA STUDY OVERLAY <br />DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTWE <br />DATE." <br />
