<br />ORDINANCE 04-1128 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING THE <br />RENAMING OF ST ATE ROAD 436 FROM THE CITY LIMITS (APPROXIMA TEL Y <br />620 FEET EAST OF ANCHOR ROAD) TO U.S. HIGHWAY 17-92, CHANGING THE <br />NAME FROM SEMORAN BOULEVARD TO EAST ALTAMONTE DRIVE; <br />PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a request has been received from Seminole County to rename a segment of State Road 436 located <br />in the Section 17 Township 21 Range 30, between 1-4 and US Highway 17-92, Public Records of Seminole <br />County, Florida; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission ofthe City of Casselberry desires to create consistency to eliminate confusion <br />and facilitate the ability of the public and emergency workers to locate streets and roads within the City of <br />Casselberry and Seminole County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this change is consistent with the overall plans of Seminole County for street naming, addressing and <br />the 911 Emergency Response System, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the renaming of State Road 436 <br />from the City limits (approximately 620 feet east of Anchor Road) to U.S. Highway 17-92 previously named <br />Semoran Boulevard to East Altamonte Drive. <br /> <br />SECTION II. Codification. It is the intent of the City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida, and it <br />is hereby ordained that the provisions of this Ordinance shall become and be made a part of the Code of <br />Ordinances ofthe City of Casselberry, Florida; thatthe Sections of this Ordinance may be renumbered or relettered <br />to accomplish such intention; that the word, "Ordinancen, may be changed to "Section", "Article", or other <br />appropriate word. <br /> <br />SECTION III. Conflicts. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with any of the provisions of this <br />Ordinance are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION IV. Severabilitv. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Ordinance proves to be invalid, <br />unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other <br />Section or part of this Ordinance. <br /> <br />SECTION V. Effective Date.
