The motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Susan Doerner and carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />F@n Mail Item will be considered as Item #9 on the Regular Agenda. <br /> <br />Audience Input: <br /> <br />. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, Casselberry, FL, asked if the City could <br />contract with Seminole County and save money on debris removal. The City Manager <br />stated thatthe City saved money with Republic Services at $21 perton; the County is paying <br />$33 per ton at the County landfill. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Vice Mayor/Commissioner Al Clark to approve the Special Invoice <br />and Minor Contracts Report witb related budget transfers as amended. The <br />motion was seconded by Commissioner Susan Doerner and carried <br />unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />2. Fundin!! for LYNX Fixed Bus Routes and ADA Paratransit Services for Fiscal Year 2004-2005 <br /> <br />Mr. Clifton presented a request from the Seminole County Manager, Kevin Grace, requested the City <br />participate in funding ADA paratransit services for residents in the City who qualify and need this mobile <br />opportunity for accessing vital needs such as employment or medical services. This fiscal year, 2004-2005, <br />the County is requesting $66,006, which is funding from the City's portion of the local option gas tax monies. <br /> <br />The City Manager said the City Commission has three options (I) participate this year and pay the $66,000; <br />(2) participate this year and inform the County this would be the last year for participating; or (3) do not <br />participate. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Vice Mayor/Commissioner AI Clark to approve funding for LYNX <br />fix bus routes and ADA Paratransit Services for Fiscal Year 2004-2005 in the <br />amount of $66,006. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Susan <br />Doerner and carried on a 3 - 2 roll call vote. Commissioners Cook and Hart <br />dissenting. <br />
