Email cityengineer@casselberry.org <br /> <br />September 7, 2004 //J <br /> <br /> <br />Tony Segreto, Public Works Director ~ <br /> <br /> <br />Bill Goucher, Assistant Public Works Director ~ <br /> <br />Hurricane Frances - Generator & Bypass Pump Needs <br /> <br />As a result of Hurricane Charley, and Hurricane Frances, the following are needed: <br /> <br />· Replacement of 500 KW standby generator at Water Reclamation Facility (was <br />proposed for next year's budget, but is no longer operable) - $80,000. <br /> <br />· Replacement of 150 KW standby generator at City Hall with 250 KW (150 does <br />not power entire City Hall and air conditioning unit) - $60,000. <br /> <br />· Additional 1 0 portable standby generators for Lift Stations - $27,000 each, for <br />total of $270,000. <br /> <br />· Additional 4 gasoline-powered bypass pumps for Lift Stations - $27,000 each, for <br />total of $108,000. <br /> <br />· Electrical work for automatic transfer switches, and miscellaneous electrical - <br />$40,000. <br /> <br />Total cost is approximately $558,000. The City of Casselberry has a continuing contract <br />with Alternative Power Solutions, who have served the City admirably during the two <br />hurricane events. <br /> <br />www,casselberry.org <br />
