Commission/Staff Reports

Commissioner Susan Doemer

Discussed a meeting she had with Randy Morris, Kevin Grace and Kevin Fall regarding a project
in the Seminole County CRA, for putting water and sewer in the area of Fern Park, Florida. The
City Manager said he would get back with the Commission after options with the different utilities
in the area have been explored.

Commissioner Kathy Cook

· Congratulated Dale Metz and his EMS team regarding their EMS reviews.

Inquired as to the progress of street lights on Plumosa. Mr. Segreto said he has proposals from
Progress Energy, but a decision has not been made.

· Asked that the problems with flooding on Lotus Lake be addressed. Mr. Segreto said the property
is private and within the flood zone and the City cannot control mother nature but is designing a
program to help alleviate some of the problem.

Addressed the Lake Triplet muck condition. Mr. Segreto said the water quality in the lake is
excellent; the City is treating the lake for algae with chemicals but the lake is not responding.

Vice Mayor/Commissioner Al Clark

Regarding the Gate at Colonial Point, he favored fixing the road if in disrepair, but he did not favor
having the street resurfaced because of the gate.

Mayor Bruce Pronovost

No Report

City Clerk Thelma McPherson

No Report

Commission Secretary Donna Gardner

No Report
