Motion was seconded by Commissioner Linda Hart and carried <br />u~animously by roll call vote. <br /> <br /> V. Second Reading of Ordinance 03-1097 - LPA 03-08 <br />Future Land Use Amendment 741 - 745 - 751 Seminola Boulevard <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Vice Mayor/Commissioner Al Clark that Ordinance 03-1097, Future <br />Land Use Amend 741 - 745 - 751 Seminola Boulevard, be read by title only. <br />The motion was seconded by Commissioner Susan Doerner and carried <br />unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 03-1097 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA TO AMEND <br />THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, BY AMENDING THE <br />OFFICIAL FUTURE LAND USE MAP ESTABLISHING THE FUTURE LAND USE <br />DESIGNATION OF MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (MDR) FOR THOSE <br />PARCELS DESCRIBED IN SECTION ONE OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING <br />FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY. AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Legal advertisement for the public hearing of Ordinance 03-1097 was published in the Orlando <br />Sentinel on August 14, 2003. <br /> <br />Staff Report - Ordinance 03-1097 administratively amends the Future Land Use Map classification <br />of properties at 741, 745 and 751 Seminola Boulevard. Current designation of Low Density <br />Residential allows for five dwelling units per acre. The requested designation is Medium Density <br />Residential, which allows up to 13 dwelling units per acre to accommodate the proposed townhome <br />project. Sincethepropertyislessthan 10acres, thisamendmentisbeingprocessedasaSmallScale <br />Map Amendment. All property owners within 500 feet of the property were notified by mail of the <br />time and location of the Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting. The Planning and Zoning <br />Commission, at their meeting of June 26, 2003, unanimously approved the Small Scale Amendment. <br />The City Commission voted unanimously to approve Ordinance 03-1097 on first reading on July 2 8, <br />2003. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation - Approve Ordinance 03-1097 on second reading and final public hearing. <br /> <br />Audience Input - None <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Vice Mayor/Commissioner Al Clark that Ordinance 30-1097, Small <br />Scale Future Map Amendment/Seminola Boulevard, be approved as <br />submitted.
