Resolution 03-1426 - Reclassification of Position Neighborhood & Redevelopment Coordinator to Communit~ Relations Coordinator MOTION: Moved by Vice Mayor/Commissioner Al Clark that Resolution 03-1426, Reclassification of Position, be read by title only. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Linda Hart and carried unanimously by voice vote. The City Clerk read Resolmion 03-1426 by title as follows; "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO EXCLUDE THE POSITION OF COMMUNITY RELATIONS COORDINATOR FROM CIVIL SERVICE STATUS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Staff Presentation - Thc Community Relations Coordinator position is a professional, salaried position whose primary responsibility is to provide information to the general public and the media regarding City issues and community related functions. The recommended pay grade is 18 and will be under the supervision of the City Manager. Resolution 03-1426 provides for exemption of this position from civil service. Staff Recommendation - Approve Resolution 03-1426. Proposed Resolutions and Appointment of Voting Delegate at Florida League of Cities Annual Conference MOTION: Moved by Vice Mayor/Commissioner Al Clark that Mayor Bruce Pronovost be appointed as the voting delegate for the Florida League of Cities Annual Conference August 13 - 17, 2003.
