Second Reading of Ordinance 03-1080 <br />Small Scale Future Land Use Map Amendment, Grindle Property - LPA 02-11 <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Vice Mayor/Commissioner Al Clark that Ordinance 03-1080, <br />Small Scale Future land use Map Amendment, Grindle Property, be <br />read by title only. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Linda Hart <br />and carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 03-1080 by title as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO <br />AMEND THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, BY <br />AMENDING THE OFFICIAL FUTURE LAND USE MAP ESTABLISHING <br />THE FUTURE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF COMMERCIAL (C) FOR <br />THAT PARCEL DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; <br />PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br /> <br />Legal advertisement for Ordinance 03-1080 was published in the Orlando Sentinel on <br />Thursday, March 13, 2003. <br /> <br />StaffReport - The Small Scale Future Land Use Map Amendment for the Grindle <br />Property, 1555 State Road 436 (annexed into the City November 18, 2002) will change <br />the Future Land Use designation from Seminole County Commercial to City of <br />Casselberry Commercial. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval <br />of the Commercial FLU designation at its meeting on February 12, 2003. Notices were <br />sent to the property owner and surrounding property owners within 500 feet of the <br />property pursuant to Code. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: City Commission approved the amendment, Ordinance 03-1080, <br />on first reading at the February 24, 2003 meeting. Recommend approval by the <br />Commission of Ordinance 03-1080 (Commercial FLU Designation) on second and final <br />reading at the March 24, 2003 Meeting. <br /> <br />Public Participation - No audience input either in favor of or opposition to Ordinance 03- <br />1080. <br /> <br /> <br />
