City Commission Meeting <br />March 24, 2003 <br />Page 19 <br /> <br />Commissioner Cook <br /> <br />Requested a town meeting be scheduled for citizen input re the Electric Franchise <br />issue. <br /> <br />Requested dollar amounts be listed on the Agenda - Item 1, Special Invoice <br />Report. <br /> <br />Thanked the staff for their work on the Volunteer Board Appreciation Board <br />Dinner on March 22, 2003. <br /> <br />Diane Bauer of the Seminole County School Board has requested the School Board <br />be included in any planning issues of the City. Mr. Segreto said they were <br />included and are sent notices of all meetings of the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hart <br /> <br />Thanked staff for work done on the Volunteer Board Appreciation Dinner on <br />March 22, 2003. <br /> <br />Thanked the Commission and Staff for their prayers and cards during her recent <br />surgery. <br /> <br />Reported that she had received a complaint from a citizen regarding a motorcycle <br />gang on Hilltop Road. <br /> <br />Responded to letter that was circulated from the "Taxpayers Against Government <br />Electric" criticizing her and making untrue statements about her position on the <br />electric issue. She said it was her desire to make an informed decision regarding <br />the electric issue for the good of the residents after all options have been explored. <br /> <br />Congratulated Commissioner Clark on becoming a grandfather. <br /> <br />Expressed appreciation to Tony Segreto on an outstanding job of Interim City <br />Manager. <br /> <br /> <br />
