Developing a Project Information System to be used as <br />a uniform Capital Delivery System for the Capital Improvement Programs. Administrator, Hillsborough Countw, FL~ (pop. 1,000,000). <br />1999 - 2002. <br /> <br />Located in the Tampa Bay Area, Hillsborough is a County encompassing 1072 miles of <br />which 87% is in the unincorporated area. It is a diverse community having a major City <br />(Tampa), large manufacturing and agricukure center, MacDiI1 Air Force Base, Busch <br />Gardens and the Port of Tampa which is the tenth largest port in the United States. <br />Responsible for City Services to the unincorporated area of the County, with a population <br />of 600,000. Eight line Departments reported to me: Planning & Growth Management, <br />Fire Rescue, Water, So[id Waste, Public Safety, Parks & Recreation, and Community <br />Improvement. Further, additiona[ responsibilities include Countywide services in the <br />areas of Animal Control, Consumer Protection and The Water Team. Coordinate <br />County staff support to the Board of County Commissioners on Tampa Bay Water (a <br />separate authority) activities. Budgets under my control exceeded $248,000,000 without <br />the Capital Improvement Program.
