Planning & Zoning Commission/ <br />Local Planning Agency Minutes <br />February 12, 2025 <br />Page 5 <br />Staff recommended that the Planning and Zoning Commission approve the project, as outlined in <br />ordinance number ZMA 24-08, which amends the City's Official Zoning Map to RMF -13 for <br />Parcel 09-21-30-506-0300-0500. <br />Discussion: Mr. Curran inquired about a previous zoning map amendment and how data was sent <br />to the Seminole County Property Appraiser. Vice -Chairperson Stanley asked if a representative <br />was present to speak on this item. <br />Mr. Dusan Milovan, 506 Alpine St., Altamonte Springs, FL 32701, briefly addressed the Board <br />and noted seven dwelling units was their development goal. <br />Audience Participation: Vice -Chairperson Stanley asked if anyone in the audience wished to <br />speak about this item. No one came forward to speak about this item. <br />Vice -Chairperson Stanley noted that an email from Mr. Erik Andersen and Ms. Bettina Krantz <br />providing input was presented to the Planning and Zoning Commission by the City Clerk prior to <br />the meeting. <br />Brief comments followed about public infrastructure improvements in the area. <br />MOTION: Mr. Curran moved that the Planning and Zoning Commission/Local <br />Planning Agency, recommend to the City Commission the approval of <br />project number ZMA 24-08: an ordinance amending the City's Official <br />Zoning Map to RMF -13 for one (1) parcel identified as Parcel 09-21-30- <br />506-0300-0500. This recommendation is based on the findings in the staff <br />report and the testimony and evidence presented during the meeting. <br />The request is also consistent with the applicable provisions of the ULDR <br />and aligns with the City's Comprehensive Plan, as detailed in the written <br />findings within the staff report. Mr. Veigle seconded the motion. The <br />motion passed unanimously by voice vote, 5-0. <br />10. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />A. VAR 24-02: Variance Request for Parcel ID 08-21-30-510-ED00-0040 <br />Staff presentation: Mr. Linder presented case number VAR 24-02: an application to a reduced <br />side setback of 5 ft. from the minimum allowable setback of 7.5 ft. per Section 2-5.4. "Size and <br />Dimension Regulations" of the City's Unified Land Development Regulations (ULDR). <br />The subject property is located adjacent to 261 Lake Griffin Circle and was recently split from this <br />parcel back into its original platted lot, as shown on the provided map. The applicant proposes this <br />variance in order to construct a single-family home on the property, which is currently zoned R-9 <br />
