RESOLUTION 11-2320 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING EXHIBITS A THROUGH G-2 <br />AND RELATED DOCUMENTS FOR EQUIPMENT SCHEDULE <br />NO.9 TO THE MASTER LEASE AGREEMENT DATED <br />OCTOBER 12, 2000 WITH SUNTRUST EQUIPMENT FINANCE & <br />LEASING CORPORATION FOR THE LEASE PURCHASE OF <br />SEVEN (7) POLICE VEHICLES, FIFTY-NINE (59) PORTABLE <br />DIGITAL RADIOS, TWO (2) CODE COMPLIANCE VEHICLES, <br />ONE (1) FIRE DIVISION MANAGER VEHICLE, FOUR (4) SETS OF <br />EXTRICATION EQUIPMENT AND ONE (1) STREETS <br />MAINTENANCE DUMP TRUCK; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Whereas, the City of Casselberry desires to lease purchase new replacement equipment as <br />herein defined from SunTrust Equipment Finance & Leasing Corporation subject to the terms and <br />conditions of certain agreements; and <br />Whereas, the City of Casselberry desires to lease purchase seven (7) police vehicles as <br />herein defined from SunTrust Leasing Corporation at a cost of $214,878; and <br />Whereas, the City of Casselberry desires to lease purchase fifty-nine (59) portable digital <br />radios for the Police Department as herein defined from SunTrust Leasing Corporation at a cost of <br />$233,286; and <br />Whereas, the City of Casselberry desires to lease purchase one (1) Division Manager <br />Vehicle for the Fire Department as herein defined from SunTrust Leasing Corporation at a cost of <br />$55,843; and <br />Whereas, the City of Casselberry desires to lease purchase four (4) sets of extrication <br />equipment known as "jaws of life" for the Fire Department as herein defined from SunTrust <br />Leasing Corporation at a cost of $98,872; and <br />Whereas, the City of Casselberry desires to lease purchase two (2) Code Compliance <br />vehicles as herein defined from SunTrust Leasing Corporation at a cost of $29,996; and <br />Whereas, the City of Casselberry desires to lease purchase one (1) Dump Truck for the <br />Street Maintenance as herein defined from SunTrust Leasing Corporation at a cost of $73,869; and <br />Whereas, the City has previously executed a Master Lease Agreement with SunTrust <br />Leasing Corporation dated October 12, 2000 and finds it is in the best interest of the City to <br />execute Exhibits A through G-2 and related documents for Equipment Schedule No. 9 which <br />include an escrow agreement and a documents adding the seven (7) Police vehicles, fifty-nine (59) <br />digital radios, one (1) Division Manager vehicle, four (4) jaws of life, two (2) Code Compliance <br />vehicles and one (1) Streets Maintenance dump truck to the Master Lease. <br />
