All
provisions in the original Agreement and supplements, if any, remain in effect except as expressly modified by this
supplement.
The changes to the Agreement and supplements, if any, are described as follows:
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Name Southcot Drive Sidewalk Length — 0.241 miles
Termini Between Sunset Drive and Lake Triplett Drive
Description of Work:
The Southcot Drive Sidewalk project is with the City of Casselberry (Recipient). The primary intent of this project is to
enhance the bicycle/pedestrian safety and connectivity by narrowing the travel lanes, adding a wider sidewalk, and
including other complete street enhancements. The construction improvements are along the north side of Southcot Drive
between Sunset Drive and Lake Triplett Drive for an approximate total length of 0.241 miles. Project scope includes milling
and resurfacing, construction of curb and gutter (along the north side of the corridor), wider concrete sidewalk, and
driveway reconstruction. Detectable warning surfaces will be placed on all curb ramps/ramps. Drainage improvements
include installation of pipe and curb inlets. A raised midblock crossing is proposed approximately 550 feet east of Sunset
Drive along with two sets of speed cushions. Signage and thermoplastic striping will be added to this project. Additionally,
mobilization, maintenance of traffic (MOT), erosion control, clearing and grubbing, removal of existing concrete, sodding,
excavation, and embankment are also included as part of this project.
The roadway improvements (excavation, embankment, milling, inlets, pipe, type F curb and gutter) are not eligible for
federal reimbursement due to Southcot Drive not being listed on the Federal Aid System.
All pedestrian facilities shall adhere to current ADA standards. Utility coordination is required and has been coordinated.
Utility coordination will be required during construction and utility work schedules have been developed. The City of
Casselberry (Recipient) shall construct the project within the limits of the existing right-of-way.
Reason for Supplement and supporting engineering and/or cost analysis:
1. Pursuant to Paragraph 4.0 Project Cost of the Local Agency Program Agreement, the Recipient and the Department
acknowledge and agree that the Schedule of Funding for Construction that includes the authorized and encumbered Federal
funding and the Local funding contribution on the project shall be decreased to an amount equal to the Recipient's
construction contract award amount of $522,017.00. This results in a decrease of total construction funding by $28,341.00.
The federal funding is to be increased by $148,226.00, which is the difference between previous federal funding of
