RESOLUTION 24-3479 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON WILSHIRE BOULEVARD TO SEMINOLE COUNTY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW FIRE STATION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, City and Seminole County entered into an Interlocal on December 22, 2014, to provide fire, rescue, and emergency medical services to CITY (the original Interlocal plus amendments referred to as the "Interlocal"); and WHEREAS, City and Seminole County entered into a First Amendment to the Interlocal on February 14, 2017; and WHEREAS, by Resolution 24-3477 the City approved a Second Amendment to the Interlocal that includes details regarding the conveyance of approximately two acres of the Wilshire Property to be developed exclusively for a COUNTY EMS/Fire/Rescue station; and WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry desires to convey the Wilshire Boulevard property to Seminole County pursuant to the hlterlocal. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the conveyance of the real property described in Attachment A, attached hereto and made a part hereof, to Seminole County pursuant to the Interlocal as approved in Resolution 24-3477. SECTION 2. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION 4. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
