AGREEMENT FOR <br />LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY USE OF <br />SEMINOLE STATE COLLEGE PUBLIC SAFETY TRAINING COMPLEX <br />THE GENEVA CENTER CONTRACT YEAR 2024-2025 <br />tobacco used in cigarettes, cigars, pipes, and electronic cigarettes. Snuff, chewing <br />tobacco, and other tobacco products are also prohibited. Furthermore, User and all <br />of User's guests, invitees, and licensees shall comply with College Policy 6.021. <br />n. Both frangible and non -frangible ammunition is approved for use at this facility with <br />consideration given to the types of targets being shot. Anytime ball, shotgun, or rifle <br />ammunition is being used to shoot steel targets, body armor shall be worn <br />o. Provide to the Range Manager daily, the amount and type of ammunition expended <br />and the number of individuals participating. <br />p. Use handguns and rifles only on Range A. Shotgun use will be permitted on all <br />other ranges, except Range A. <br />4. Comply with the following policies and procedures of Seminole State College of Florida: <br />2.100 Drug Free Workplace; 6.010 Facility Use by Outside Entities; 6.011 Alcoholic <br />Beverages At College Facilities; 6.021 Tobacco Free College; 7.010 Acceptable Use of <br />College Technology (Section 3 only); 8.0200 Traffic and Parking <br />Regulations/Enforcement; 8.030 Campus and Workplace Violence; 8.040 Sexual <br />Assault/Battery; 8.0500 Protection of Vulnerable Persons: Reporting Known or Suspected <br />Abuse Abandonment or Neglect of Children. Current versions of these policies and <br />procedures may be obtained on the College website: Policies and Procedures - Seminole State <br />College. <br />4. Payment of Charges: <br />a. Payment is to be made annually in advance of the commencement date for the <br />Agreement and shall be made by check, payable to: Seminole State College. For <br />public law enforcement agencies, the College will accept either the payment or a <br />purchase order prior to the commencement date of the agreement. <br />b. All payments or for public law enforcement agencies, purchase orders, are due at <br />the time this agreement is signed by User. Notwithstanding the foregoing, this <br />Agreement shall not be binding upon the College until accepted, approved, and <br />executed by the Vice President of Business Operations/Chief Financial Officer or <br />designee. College's submission of this Agreement for examination and signature <br />by User does not constitute an offer to lease or a reservation or option for lease.In <br />the event this Agreement is not so accepted, approved, and executed, User <br />understands and agrees its recovery shall be strictly limited to the recovery of any <br />pre -paid fees. <br />c. The fees and specific details as needed for the use of these facilities are outlined in <br />the Facilities Reservation Rate Quote schedule which is attached hereto as Exhibit <br />A hereby incorporated into this Agreement by this reference. <br />5. Term and Termination: <br />a. This agreement shall commence on October 1, 2024, and shall be in effect until <br />September 30 2025, or be cancelled by either party upon written notice to the other <br />party not less than 60 days prior to the termination date. <br />6.
