RESOLUTION 24-3432 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND THE SEMINOLE COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Seminole County Board of County Commissioners approval under the aforementioned interlocal agreement for the allocation of Casselberry Police Department's share of the Seminole County Opioid Settlement the City.; and WHEREAS, as a result of this agreement, the City of Casselberry will allocate the Casselberry Police Department's share of the settlement funds to the Seminole County Board of County Commissioners. This agreement will pool funding to share the burden of opioid mitigation services to provide continuity of service throughout Seminole County. WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry has determined that it is advantageous to enter into the Interlocal Agreement with the Seminole County Board of County Commissioners. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the Interlocal Agreement with the Seminole County Board of County Commissioners, as set forth attached hereto as Exhibit A, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said agreement on behalf of the City. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions of parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severability. If any section or portion of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, effects of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED this Z nj day of ,TL4I 2024.
