RESOLUTION 10-2191 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY TO ENTER INTO <br />EXHIBITS TO THE MASTER LEASE AGREEMENT DATED <br />OCTOBER 12, 2000, WITH SUNTRUST LEASING CORPORATION <br />FOR THE LEASE PURCHASE OF SEVEN (7) POLICE PATROL <br />VEHICLES, TWO (2) CHILLER PLANTS, SIX (6) CARDIAC <br />MONITOR/DEFIBRILLATORS AND BALL FIELD LIGHTS FOR <br />WIRZ PARK: PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, <br />AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Whereas, the City of Casselberry desires to lease purchase new equipment as herein defined <br />from SunTrust Leasing Corporation subject to the terms and conditions of certain agreements; and <br />Whereas, the City of Casselberry desires to lease purchase seven (7) police patrol vehicles as <br />herein defined from SunTrust Leasing Corporation at a cost of $154,000; and <br />Whereas, the City of Casselberry desires to lease purchase two (2) chiller plants for City <br />Hall and the Police Department buildings as herein defined from SunTrust Leasing Corporation at <br />a cost of $451,000; and <br />Whereas, the City of Casselberry desires to lease purchase six (6) cardiac <br />monitor/defibrillators for the Fire Department as herein defined from SunTrust Leasing <br />Corporation at a cost of $199,950; and <br />Whereas, the City of Casselberry desires to lease purchase ball field lights for Wirz Park as <br />herein defined from SunTrust Leasing Corporation at a cost of $143,000; and <br />Whereas, the City has previously executed a Master Lease Agreement with SunTrust <br />Leasing Corporation dated October 12, 2000, and finds it is in the best interest of the City to <br />execute exhibits to the Lease which include an escrow agreement and a document adding the <br />seven (7) patrol vehicles, two (2) chiller plants, six (6) cardiac monitor/defibrillators and Wirz <br />Park ball field lights to the Master Lease. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION <br />OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOW: <br />SECTION 1. The Mayor of the City of Casselberry is hereby authorized to execute <br />Exhibits to the Master Lease Agreement dated October 12, 2000, for seven (7) patrol <br />vehicles, two (2) chiller plants, six (6) cardiac monitor/defibrillators and Wirz Park ball field <br />lights, from SunTrust Leasing Corporation in the form attached hereto as Exhibits A thru G-2. <br />SECTION 2. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of <br />the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 3. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to <br />be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, <br />force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />
