City Commission Hearing <br />Seminole Entertaimnent Inc. d/b/a Rachel's <br />December 14, 2000 <br />Page 4 <br />Exhibit 15 - Credit Card Receipt from Rachel's dated June 20, 2000 <br />Exhibit 16 - Deposition of Former Employee of Rachel's - Jim Mulrenin <br />Exhibit 17 - Deposition of Employee of Seminole Entertainment, Inc -Rachel's - <br />Robert Rexroad <br />Exhibit 18 - Sworn Statement dated August 1, 2000 - Jim Mulrenin <br />Exhibit 19 - Sworn Statement dated September 15, 2000 - Jim Mulrenin <br />Exhibit 20 - Sworn Statement of Employee - Jennifer Sue Lethig <br />Exhibit 21 - Sworn Statement of Robert Rexroad dated September 26, 2000 <br />The exhibits are not attached to these minutes. <br />Mr. Thomas requested an hour recess to review the exhibits presented by Mr. Kahn. <br />MOTION: Moved by Commissioner Clark, seconded by Commissioner Hart to <br />grant the hour's recess requested at 9:00 a.m. Motion carried <br />unanimously on roll call vote to recess for one hour. <br />Mayor Pronovost reconvened the meeting at 10:15 a.m. <br />Mr. Thomas enumerated his objections to the Exhibits 1 -5 and Exhibits 8 - 21 citing them as not <br />authenticated, unfair, over broad, cumulative, improper, hearsay and irrelevant. No objections <br />were voiced for Exhibits 6 or 7. He reserved his rights to make further objections at a later time. <br />MOTION: Moved by Commissioner Clark, seconded by Commissioner Sheppard <br />to allow the Mayor to respond on behalf of the Commission to any <br />objections raised during the hearing. Motion carried unanimously by <br />roll call vote. <br />Mr. Kahn called and questioned Sgt. Michael J. Laney, of the Seminole County Sheriff's Office, <br />the agent currently assigned to the City/County Investigative Bureau (CCIB) specializing in the <br />investigation of organized and ongoing criminal vice and illegal drug activities. A transcript of <br />Sgt. Laney's testimony is on file with the City as a matter of record. <br />
