(F) All business activities must comply with Article XI, Environmental <br />Protection, and state and federal regulations with respect to the use, <br />storage, or disposal of any corrosive, combustible, or other hazardous or <br />flammable materials or liquids. <br />(G) A Home Based Business is subject to all applicable City, County, and <br />other business taxes. <br />H) If any Home Based Business requires a license or permit from the State <br />of Florida or any agency thereof, the Home Based Business shall provide <br />the City with a current, valid copy of any such permit or license before <br />any such business may receive a business tax receipt. Any such license or <br />permit from the state or any agency thereof shall be kept active and current <br />and a duplicate copy shall be filed with the City at the time of all <br />subsequent renewals of the business tax receipt <br />(I) The Home Based Business may not display a sign in front of the dwelling, <br />except as provided in Article XVI, Signs. <br />(J) Any person desiring to conduct a Home Based Business in the City shall <br />first apply to the appropriate city department for a business tax receipt. <br />Such application shall be on a form prepared by the City, and shall <br />include, but not be limited to. the following information: <br />1. Name of applicant. <br />2. Location of residence wherein the Horne Based Business if <br />approved, will be conducted. <br />3. Total floor area of the first floor of the residence. <br />4. A sketch showing the floor plan and the area thereof to be utilized <br />for the conduct of the Home Based Business. <br />5. The nature of the Home Based Business sought to be approved. <br />6. A notarized letter of authorization from the property owner, if the <br />applicant is not the property owner. <br />SECTION III. Part III — Unified Land Development Regulations, Chapter V, Glossary, <br />Article XXI, Language and Definitions, Section 5-21.2, Definition of Terms, of the Code of <br />Ordinances of the City of Casselberry, Florida, is hereby amended as follows: <br />Hone bqse,4' business- (aAokiioim as, Honie oeempatioH; Based Business <br />,f/k/a Home occupation. A business that operates in whole or in part from <br />a residential property and meets the criteria in Fla. Stat. 559.955 and this <br />code. <br />SECTION IV. CODIFICATION. It is the intention of the City Commission of the City <br />of Casselberry, Florida, and it is hereby ordained that the provisions of this Ordinance shall become <br />Ordinance No. 24-1606 <br />Page 3 <br />
