RESOLUTION 24-3445 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA AMENDING THE CITY INVESTMENT <br />POLICY; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND <br />PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, Florida Statutes 218.415, Local Government Investment Policies requires <br />governments to have an investment policy in place; and <br />WHEREAS, the Investment Policy for the City of Casselberry was updated on <br />September 11, 2023 by Resolution 23-3372 to provide consistency with state law; and <br />WHEREAS, earlier this year, the Finance Director along with the City's investment <br />advisor reviewed the Investment Policy and recommend an update to allow for longer term <br />investments to improve yield. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION <br />OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. That the City Commission of the of Casselberry hereby amends the City <br />Investment Policy as attached. <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with any of <br />the provisions if this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution <br />proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the <br />validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED and ADOPTED this day of a. <br />ATTEST: <br />Donna G.
