RESOLUTION 24-3417 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR <br />HIS DESIGNEE TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE FACILITY USE <br />AGREEMENTS FOR CITY PARKS AND FACILITIES; PROVIDING FOR <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry has and continues to invest significantly into the <br />develop and redevelopment of various parks and associated facilities; and <br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to ensure that its parks and facilities are activated and use of <br />them is optimized; and <br />WHEREAS, the City recognizes that beneficial opportunities may arise for special use <br />arrangements for City parks and facilities that are not covered under standard rental arrangements <br />and fee structures. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION L The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby authorizes the City <br />Manager or his designee to negotiate and execute facility use agreements for the use of City parks <br />and facilities when such agreements are determined by the City Manager to be in the best interest of <br />the City. <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution <br />proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the <br />validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />SECTION IV.
