Resolution 24-3398 — Conveyance of Easement to Duke Energy Florida LLC for <br />Wirz Park Improvements <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE <br />CONVEYANCE OF AN EASEMENT TO DUKE ENERGY FLORIDA, LLC AT WIRZ PARK, 806 <br />MARK DAVID BOULEVARD, PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Approval of Resolution 24-3398 authorizing the conveyance of an easement from the City <br />of Casselberry to Duke Energy Florida, LLC (Duke Energy) at Wirz Park, 806 Mark David Boulevard, <br />Parcel ID 21-21-30-505-0000-0000, to assist with utility adjustments needed for Wirz Park improvements <br />is requested. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City's budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works & Utilities Director recommended approval <br />of Resolution 24-3398. <br />E. Resolution 24-3399 — Authorization for the City Manager to Approve Usage of <br />Contingency Funding Related to the Wirz Park Improvements Project <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPROVE USAGE OF CONTINGENCY <br />FUNDING UP TO 5% OF THE GUARANTEED MAXIMUM PRICE AGREEMENT WITH <br />WHARTON-SMITH, INC. FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE WIRZ PARK IMPROVEMENTS <br />PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Approval of Resolution 24-3399 authorizing the City Manager to approve usage of <br />contingency funding related to the Wirz Park Improvements Project up to the amount of $360,025 is <br />requested. (Ref. SOQ-2021-0715) <br />Budget Impact: Approval of Resolution 24-3399 does not create a negative impact to the FY 2024 <br />approved budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works & Utilities Director recommended approval <br />of Resolution 24-3399. <br />
