Motion was seconded by Commissioner Divita. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 4-0. 11. PUBLIC HEARINGS A. Public Hearing: Resolution 24-3395 — Adoption of a Citywide Real Property Inventory List (Affordable Housing) The City Clerk read Resolution 24-3395 by title, as follows: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AN INVENTORY LIST OF MUNICIPALLY OWNED PROPERTY THAT IS APPROPRIATE FOR USE AS AFFORDABLE HOUSING PURSUANT TO SECTION 166.0451, FLORIDA STATUTES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing relative to Resolution 24-3395 was advertised in the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday, February 1, 2024. Staff Presentation: Administrative Services Director Any Brooks gave a brief overview of Resolution 24- 3395 which provides for approval of the Real Property Inventory List required under Florida Statutes Section 166.0451. He advised that the City also maintains a surplus property list, but since neither list typically include any properties, the two lists had been combined. He stated for the record that there were currently no City -owned properties that have been identified as surplus, nor any that are appropriate for use as affordable housing. Budget Impact: There is no impact on the City Budget. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Administrative Services Director recommended adoption of Resolution 24-3395. Public Hearing: Mayor Henson stated this was a public hearing to hear and consider comments and questions regarding Resolution 24-3395. Mayor Henson opened the floor for public participation. No one came forward to address Resolution 24-3395. Mayor Henson closed the public hearing relative to Resolution 24-3395. MOTION: Commissioner Busch moved to adopt Resolution 24-3395, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Divita. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 4-0. 12. OTHER ITEMS No items were presented for consideration on this agenda.
