RESOLUTION 24-3410 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />RECOGNIZING AND CONFIRMING LEGISLATION IN PROGRESS <br />REGARDING PERMITTING MEDICAL SERVICES IN THE OR ZONING <br />DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR LEGISLATIVE FINDINGS; <br />RECOGNIZING LEGISLATION IN PROGRESS; PROVIDING FOR <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, in Ordinance 22-1573, the City Staff inadvertently eliminated "medical <br />services" as a permitted use in the OR zoning district, and now the City Commission desires to <br />reverse the change through legislation in progress. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. Legislative Findings. The above recitals are hereby adopted as the <br />legislative findings of the City Commission. The City Commission finds and determines that <br />there is competent substantial evidence to support the findings and determinations made in this <br />resolution. <br />SECTION II. Recognizing Legislation in Progress. The City of Casselberry hereby <br />recognizes and confirms that legislation is in progress to adopt amendments to the Code of <br />Ordinances and the Land Development Code to add "medical services" as a permitted use in the <br />OR zoning district. Staff is directed to issue any permits for medical services in the OR district, <br />and approve applications for building permits, development orders or other land use activity within <br />the City of Casselberry which would allow or permit medical services in the OR district to further <br />the pending amendments. <br />SECTION III. Conflicts. All Resolutions, or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION IV. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution <br />proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the <br />validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />SECTION V. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately after <br />passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this IS�{ day of <br />TEST: <br />Donna G.
