by the City from time to time. Beginning on January 1, 2024, the City <br />Manager shall receive salary adjustments at the same times and in the <br />same percentage as other regular City employees. <br />b. The City Manager's compensation shall include a monthly car allowance in <br />the amount of $500.00 which accounts for mileage for travel involving City <br />business using the City Manager's personal vehicle that is within a 50 -mile <br />radius of City Hall. Additionally, mileage beyond the 50 -mile radius will be <br />reimbursed to City Manager at the cents -per -mile rate equal to that provided <br />by IRS business guidelines or at a rate provided to regular City employees, <br />subject to applicable statutory limitations. <br />6. BENEFITS. Except as hereinafter provided, the City Manager will receive the <br />same benefits as all other City employees, including but not limited to the <br />medical/health insurance plans, long-term disability plan, dental plan, <br />hospitalization plan, life insurance, Worker's Compensation, and all other benefits <br />available to the full-time regular employees of the City based on the City Manager's <br />tenure and accumulated service to the City, or as prescribed in this Agreement, <br />whichever benefit is greater. <br />a. The City agrees to pay an amount equal to 15 percent (15%) of the City <br />Manager's salary into a retirement plan under IRS code Section 401A on <br />the City Manager's behalf, in proportionate amounts each pay period. <br />b. The City will make an annual matching contribution to the City's deferred <br />compensations plan under IRS Section 457 not to exceed four percent (4%) <br />of the City Manager's salary. These contributions will be made in <br />proportionate installments based on the City Manager's contribution at the <br />time of each regular pay period the same as for the regular employees of <br />the City. <br />c. The City Manager's accrual of annual, sick, and compensatory leave time <br />will be managed in accordance with City Policy applicable to all regular City <br />employees. <br />d. Upon separation of employment from the City other than by retirement or <br />as otherwise prescribed herein, the City Manager shall have the opportunity <br />to obtain all medical/health insurance, dental plans, hospitalization, life <br />insurance, and any other benefit plans available to all employees of the City <br />in accordance with COBRA regulations or in accordance with the City <br />Retiree Health Insurance Policy at the City Manager's expense. <br />7. RESIDENCY. Pursuant to City Charter Section 5.01 of Article 5, the City <br />Commission has waived, by super majority approval, the requirement that the City <br />Manager shall become a resident of the City of Casselberry for the duration of his <br />appointment. <br />8. TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT. This Agreement may be terminated as <br />follows: <br />a. In this Agreement, "Cause" is defined to mean a conviction of a felony; an <br />intentional act of felonious embezzlement or theft from the City that occurs <br />in the course of the City Manager's employment with the City; continued <br />willful failure to substantially perform his duties as City Manager (other than <br />as a result of incapacity due to physical or mental illness), or willful conduct <br />
