RESOLUTION 23-3384 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE SALE OF SURPLUS <br />PROPERTY LOCATED ON IRIS ROAD (Parcel ID #16-21-30-5BS-0000- <br />1360) TO ERSILIA AND BRADLEY BRAUN; PROVIDING FOR <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution 20-3166, the City of Casselberry established a policy that City - <br />owned real property must be declared as surplus real property by the City Commission prior to its <br />sale; and <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution 23-3361 the City of Casselberry declared City -owned real <br />property located on Iris Road, Parcel ID #16-21-30-5BS-0000-1360, as surplus to place this <br />property for sale in accordance with the City's Procurement Policy. <br />WHEREAS, the City advertised the undeveloped parcel for sale on October 13, 2023, and <br />received one offer from adjacent property owners, Ersilia and Bradley Braun, in the amount of <br />$22,000; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the sale of <br />the surplus real property located on Iris Road, Parcel ID #16-21-30-5BS-0000.1360, and authorizes <br />the Mayor to execute a contract, attached as Exhibit A, on behalf of the City Commission. <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution <br />proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the <br />validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />SECTION IV.
