RESOLUTION 23-3384 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY LOCATED ON IRIS ROAD (Parcel ID #16-21-30-5BS-0000- 1360) TO ERSILIA AND BRADLEY BRAUN; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, by Resolution 20-3166, the City of Casselberry established a policy that City - owned real property must be declared as surplus real property by the City Commission prior to its sale; and WHEREAS, by Resolution 23-3361 the City of Casselberry declared City -owned real property located on Iris Road, Parcel ID #16-21-30-5BS-0000-1360, as surplus to place this property for sale in accordance with the City's Procurement Policy. WHEREAS, the City advertised the undeveloped parcel for sale on October 13, 2023, and received one offer from adjacent property owners, Ersilia and Bradley Braun, in the amount of $22,000; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the sale of the surplus real property located on Iris Road, Parcel ID #16-21-30-5BS-0000.1360, and authorizes the Mayor to execute a contract, attached as Exhibit A, on behalf of the City Commission. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution.
