CASSELI3ERRY COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />Minutes of April 24, 2023 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />3. RATIFICATION OF INVOICES/FINANCE REPORT <br />Ms. Gladymir Ortega, Finance Director, reviewed the March 31, 2023 Finance Report (a copy is attached <br />and made a part of these minutes.) Ms. Ortega stated that the March 31, 2023 Finance Report shows an <br />audited beginning balance of $1,413,069 and actual revenue to date of $1,468,472. She further stated the <br />report total collected/committed encumbrances of $177,442 and staff anticipates an ending fund balance of <br />$780,772. Staff recommended approval of the Finance report and ratification of the submitted invoices. <br />MOTION: Mr. Aramendia moved to ratify the invoices and finance report as presented. Motion <br />was seconded Mr. Busch. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 4 — 0. <br />4. CRA AUDIT REPORT <br />Ms. Gladymir Ortega, Finance Director, explained the numbers that are in the CRA Audit Report are not <br />government -wide, but are governmental and have already been approved by the City Commission on March <br />27, 2023 via Resolution 23-3560, as part of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR). She said <br />this report is a more extensive report and it shows the financials not only as governmental but as <br />government -wide which coverts it more to a business type appearance for comparison purposes. Staff <br />recommended approval of the CRA Audit report. <br />Chairman Henson asked if there was anyone in the audience that wished to address the Board regarding the <br />CRA Audit Report. No one came forward. <br />MOTION: Mr. Busch moved to approve the CRA Audit report as presented. Motion was <br />seconded by Mr. Aramendia. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 4 — 0. <br />5. CRA ANNUAL REPORT <br />Mr. Chris Schmidt, Community Development Director, provided an overview of CRA Annual Report for <br />Fiscal Year 2022 which contains a summary of redevelopment activities from the past year, including a <br />complete financial statement of assets, liabilities, incomes and expenses of the CRA Trust Fund, as required <br />by the Community Redevelopment Act and consistent with Chapter 163.371(2), Florida Statutes. <br />Chairman Henson asked if there was anyone in the audience that wished to address the Board regarding the <br />CRA Annual Report. No one came forward. <br />MOTION: Mr. Busch moved to approve the Fiscal Year 2022 CRA Annual Report as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Mr. Meadows. Motion carried voice vote 4 — 0. <br />
