RESOLUTION 23-3368 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF FEDERALLY -FUNDED SUBAWARD AND GRANT AGREEMENT NUMBER Z3610 WITH THE FLORIDA DIVISION OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT FOR HURRICANE NICOLE (DR 4680); PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry was impacted by Hurricane Nicole (DR 4680) November 10, 2022; and WHEREAS, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded a grant to local governments for debris removal, emergency protective measures and repair or replacement of disaster damaged facilities to the Florida Division of Emergency Management for Hurricane Ian (DR 4680); and WHEREAS, Federally -Funded Subaward and Grant Agreement Number Z3610 has been provided to the City for the first obligation of federal funds for reimbursement of Hurricane Nicole (DR4680) damages and subsequent modifications will be required to this agreement with FEMA obligation of each reimbursement request until all damage reimbursement requests have been obligated. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. That the City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves Federally -Funded Subaward and Grant Agreement Number Z3610 between the City and the Florida Division of Emergency Management for Hurricane Ian (DR 4680) for debris removal, emergency protective measures and repair or replacement of disaster damaged facilities, attached herewith, and authorizes the Finance Director or City Manager to execute said agreement and related documents for and on behalf of the City of Casselberry. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
