McMullen, Police Officer
OTHERS PRESENT:
Thelma McPherson, City Clerk
Scott Christiansen, Board Attorney
Ward Foster, Actuary
Jack Schluckebier, City Manager
Jeffrey Dreier, Finance Director
Cristina Vivo, Personnel Director
Tim Nash, STI Capital Management (SunTrust)
I. Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance
The April 12, 1999 meeting of the Police Officers' and Firefighters' Pension Board was called to
order with the Pledge of Allegiance by the Chairman at 5:00 p.m. in the Casselberry City Hall,
City Manager's Conference Room. The Agenda had been duly posted and circulated to the
Board Members by the City Clerk of the City of Casselberry.
The Agenda was modified to swear in the new member Martin LaBrusciano. The new citizen
board member, Mr. Dale Christensen, could not be present and will be sworn in at the next
quarterly board meeting.
II Seating of New Member - Police Officers' and Firefighters' Board
Mr. LaBrusciano was sworn in as the new member by the City Clerk. A copy of his oath of
office is attached to and made a part of these minutes. Mr. Scott Christiansen, the Board
Attorney noted that new legislation clearly states that a Police Officers' and Firefighters Pension
Board has to be comprised of a police officer and a firefighter and the board would have to come
into compliance by the end of the year. The new Plan Summary document will reflect this
requirement.
