CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />POLICE OFFICERS' AND FIREFIGHTERS' PENSION BOARD OF TRUSTEES <br />The Police Officers' and Firefighters' Pension Board of Trustees met on December 1, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. <br />in the Casselberry City Hall, Finance Conference Room, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida, <br />32707. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT <br />Thomas E. Embree, Chairman <br />Dale Christensen, Member <br />Frank A. Schutte, Member <br />Donald Harkins, Firefighter Member, Battalion Chief <br />MEMBERS ABSENT <br />Robbin Lilly, Police Officer Member <br />OTHERS PRESENT <br />Frank W. Clifton, Jr., City Manager <br />Jeffrey Dreier, Finance Director <br />Thelma McPherson, City Clerk <br />Cristina Vivo', Personnel Director <br />Bill Stark, Investment Monitoring/Bogdahn Consulting <br />Lance Powers, Trusco Capital Management, Inc. <br />Scott Christiansen, Board Attorney <br />Patrick Donlan, Foster and Foster <br />The Excuse of Robbin Lilly was added to the Agenda for consideration. <br />MOTION: Moved by Battalion Chief Donald Harkins to add to the Agenda and <br />approve the Excuse of Police Officer Robbin Lilly. The Motion was <br />seconded by Mr. Dale Christensen and carried unanimously by voice vote. <br />(4-0) <br />L Call to Order with Pledge of Allegiance <br />The December 1, 2003 Meeting of the Police Officers' and Firefighters' Pension Board was called to <br />order with the Pledge of Allegiance by the Chairman at 1:00 p.rn. in the Finance Conference Room. The <br />Agenda had been duly posted and circulated to the Board Members by the City Clerk of the City. <br />II. Seating of New Member, Firefighter Battalion Chief Donald Harkins <br />The Board welcomed new Member, Firefighter Donald Harkins who was seated as a member of the <br />Police Officers' and Firefighters' Pension Board of Trustees. Since Battalion Chief Harkins was the only <br />Firefighter that expressed interest in the vacancy, an election did not have to be conducted and he was <br />declared the winner by acclamation. <br />Battalion Chief Harkins was sworn in Wednesday, November 26, 2003 by the City Clerk within 10 days <br />of his election as prescribed by Ordinance 95-847. A copy of his oath is attached to and made a part of <br />these minutes. <br />
