PENSION BOARD OF TRUSTEES <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />The Police Officers' and Firefighters' Pension Board of Trustees met on Wednesday, September 24, <br />2014 at 10:05 a.m. in the Casselberry City Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, <br />Florida. <br />TRUSTEE MEMBERS PRESENT: <br />Daniel Glancy, Chairman <br />Matthew Hettler, Vice -Chair <br />James Strenth, Secretary <br />William Hufford, Member <br />Anthony Van Ore, Member <br />TRUSTEE MEMBERS ABSENT: <br />None <br />STAFF/OTHERS PRESENT: <br />Rebecca Bowman, Finance Director <br />Lorraine Armstrong, Records Management Liaison Officer <br />Scott Christiansen, Board Attorney <br />1. Call to Order with Pledge of Allegiance <br />The September 24, 2014 special meeting of the Police Officers' and Firefighters' Pension Board was <br />called to order with the Pledge of Allegiance by Chairman Daniel Glancy at 10:05 a.m. in the City <br />Commission Chambers. The Agenda had been duly posted and circulated to the Board Members by the <br />Records Management Liaison Officer for the Board. <br />2. Roll Call <br />The Records Management Liaison Officer called the roll of the Board Members. Chairman Daniel <br />Glancy, Member William Hufford, Member Anthony Van Ore, Member James Strenth, and Member <br />Matthew Hettler were present. A quorum was declared. <br />3. Audience Participation <br />The floor was opened for audience participation. Sergeant Mark Stein spoke on behalf of Ms. Brunello. <br />4. Continuation of Initial Hearing on the Disability Retirement Claim Filed By Gina Brunello <br />Mr. Christiansen confirmed that, as directed at the Initial Hearing held on August 12, 2014, he drafted <br />an ordinance to remedy the portion of the Operating Rules and Procedures that would exclude Ms. <br />Brunello from receiving disability retirement due to her separation from the City as a result of her <br />Worker's Compensation claim. Ordinance 14-1410 was approved by the City Commission on <br />September 22, 2014 and is retroactive to June 1, 2014. <br />
