Section 2. Communications. CITY and COUNTY recognize the need for proper notice <br />and communication prior to activating and deactivating the emergency water supply and for <br />operations and maintenance management. <br />(a) Upon determination that emergency potable water service is required, the <br />requesting entity must immediately verbally notify the providing entity that service is required <br />and the nature of the emergency. As soon as possible thereafter, but in no event later than forty- <br />eight (48) hours, the requesting entity shall provide a written request with reasons to the <br />providing entity. <br />(b) The requesting entity must notify the providing entity in writing within forty-eight <br />(48) hours after commencement of the emergency services of the commencement date and the <br />expected date of termination of the emergency services if it has not yet terminated such use. <br />(c) All written notifications pursuant to this agreement shall be made by personal <br />delivery, e-mail with return receipt or certified mail, return receipt requested, as follows: <br />For CITY: <br />Director or Designee <br />City of Casselberry Utility Department <br />95 Triplet Lake Drive <br />Casselberry, Florida 32707 <br />For COUNTY: <br />Director or Designee <br />Seminole County Environmental Service Department <br />500 West Lake Mary Boulevard <br />Sanford Florida 32773 <br />(d) COUNTY and CITY shall maintain a current listing of contact persons with their <br />phone numbers and/or email addresses who are available on a twenty-four (24) hours basis for <br />Interlocal Agreement between City of Casselberry and <br />Seminole County for Emergency Interconnect Water Service <br />Page 2 of 12 <br />
