Planning & Zoning Commission/ <br />Local Planning Agency Minutes <br />March 8, 2023 <br />Page 2 <br />3. Approval of Minutes <br />A. Minutes of February 8, 2023 <br />MOTION: Mr. Minnis moved to approve the minutes of the February 8, 2023 <br />meeting, as presented. Motion was seconded by Mr. Burnett. Motion <br />carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />4. Disclosure of Ex Parte Communications <br />No disclosures of ex parte communications were made. <br />5. Conditional Use Applications — None <br />No items were presented on this agenda. <br />The agenda was modified to conduct the Board Training prior to agenda item 6.A. <br />9. Other Business <br />A. Advisory Board Training <br />Jennifer Nix, Board Attorney, and Donna G. Gardner, Casselberry City Clerk, conducted training <br />for the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br />6. Future Land Use Change and Rezoning Application <br />A. ZB 22-08 Official Zoning Map Amendment for 5803 S US Hwy 17-92 <br />Staff Presentation: Planner II, Antonia DeJesus, presented to the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission and recommended approval of case number ZB 22-08 to the City Commission, <br />based on the staff report and the testimony and evidence presented, that the request meets the <br />applicable provisions of the Unified Land Development Regulations, and is consistent with the <br />Comprehensive Plan as per the written findings contained in the staff report. Vice -Chairman <br />Bakalla asked if the applicant would come forward. <br />Discussion: Discussion ensued, and a representative of the applicant, Ed Williams, Williams <br />Development Services, 29 East Pine Street, Orlando, Florida, and 300 West Plant Street, Winter <br />Garden, Florida, came forward and addressed the Planning and Zoning Commission/Local <br />Planning Agency. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address this item. <br />
