RESOLUTION 23-3345 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE MODIFICATION OF EXHIBIT C OF THE SEMINOLE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AND EDUCATION INFRASTRUCTURE PLAN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT TO FURTHER ALIGN IT WITH PLANNED PROJECTS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Seminole County voters approved a Third Generation Infrastructure Sales Tax by special election held on May 20, 2014; and WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry joined Seminole County, Seminole County Public Schools and other Seminole County cities to approve the Seminole County Transportation and Education Infrastructure Plan Interlocal Agreement via Resolution 14-2582; and WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry has identified significant transportation infrastructure needs within the City, including roadway, trails, sidewalks, signals, and other needed improvements; and WHEREAS, many of these projects have been listed within the Seminole County Transportation and Education Infrastructure Plan Interlocal Agreement on Exhibit C; and WHEREAS, under Section 3 (c) of the Agreement, project additions or deletions may be made to the listed projects on Exhibit C after the approval by the governmental entity proposing the change following a noticed public meeting; and WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry previously updated Exhibit C to align with Connecting Casselberry: The Casselberry Multimodal Transportation Master Plan; WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry has now identified certain projects that need to be added to Exhibit C in part to leverage federal funding; WHEREAS, the City the City of Casselberry desires to modify Exhibit C to add projects, remove projects, and update costs to better to align with actual and anticipated expenditures. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the modification of Exhibit C of the Seminole County Transportation and Education Infrastructure Plan Interlocal Agreement, as shown in the attached revised Exhibit C. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed.
