RESOLUTION 08-1990 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE AGREEMENT WITH CONTAINER RENTAL COMPANY, INC. TO PROVIDE COMMERCIAL WASTE CONTAINERS, HAULING AND DISPOSAL FOR EIGHT CITY OF CASSELBERRY FACILITIES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." WHEREAS, the City needs commercial waste services that provides containers, hauling and disposal to the eight City -owned facilities; and WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry properly advertised for bids for the City of Casselberry Commercial Waste Containers, Hauling and Disposal and on November 12, 2008 received four (4) sealed bids; and WHEREAS, Container Rental Company, Inc. submitted the most qualified bid in the amount of $2,065.90 per month; and WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has reviewed the bid submitted by Container Rental Company, Inc. in the amount of $2,065.90 per month, and finds it to be the most responsive, responsible and adequate bid to meet the requirements of the City. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby awards the bid and approves the Agreement with Container Rental Company, Inc., attached as "Exhibit A", and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
