RESOLUTION 08 -1978 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A COOPERATIVE PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR WATER MAIN PIPE BURSTING WITH MURPHY PIPELINE CONTRACTORS, INC. (MPC) FOR REPLACEMENT OF WATER LINES FOR CITY STREETS LISTED HEREIN; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." WHEREAS, the potable water mains located on Magnolia Road, Linden Road, Elsinore Avenue, Maywood Road, Willow Lane, and Ivy Lane are in need of replacement; and WHEREAS, MPC has been competitively bid with the City of Sanford and has performed similar work for the City; and WHEREAS, MPC has submitted a proposal to the City in the amount of $319,060.00 for performance of such work; and WHEREAS, the City staff has reviewed the proposal for services by MPC and found it complete, competitive, and adequate for the project. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the proposal with MPC, attached as "Exhibit A", and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. SECTION H. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION M. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution.
