CASSELURRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of September 12, 2022 — Special Meeting <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />to City Commission Seat No. 2 and Mark Busch as Elected to City Commission Seat <br />No. 3 <br />Staff Presentation: City Clerk Donna Gardner stated that pursuant to City Code Section 2-36(b) (2), since <br />all three qualified candidates were unopposed, they are considered to be elected and no 2022 City Election <br />was held. She then requested that the City Commission confirm the election results and certify Anthony <br />Aramendia as elected to City Commission SeatNo. 1, Andrew Meadows as elected to City Commission Seat <br />No. 2, and Mark Busch as elected to City Commission Seat No. 3, pursuant to City Code. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Aramendia moved to certify the election results and to certify <br />Anthony Aramendia as elected to City Commission Seat No. 1, Andrew <br />Meadows as elected to City Commission Seat No. 2 and Mark Busch as elected <br />to City Commission Seat No. 3. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Meadows. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 4-0. <br />4. SEATING OF NEWLY ELECTED OFFICIALS <br />A. Oath of Office — Commissioner Seat No. 1 — Anthony Aramendia <br />The following oath was administered to Anthony Aramendia by the City Attorney: <br />"l, Anthony Aramendia, do solemnly swear that I will support, protect, and defend the Constitution <br />and Government of the United States and of the State of Florida; and the Charter and Ordinances of the City <br />of Casselberry; and that I am duly qualified to hold office under the Constitution of the State; and that I will <br />well and faithfully perform the duties of Commissioner of the City of Casselberry, Florida, on which I am <br />about to enter, so help me God." <br />The Oath, as administered, was signed by Commissioner Aramendia and affirmed by the City Attorney and is <br />attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br />B. Oath of Office — Commissioner Seat No. 2 — Andrew Meadows <br />The following oath was administered to Andrew Meadows by the City Attorney: <br />"I, Andrew Meadows, do solemnly swear that I will support, protect, and defend the Constitution and <br />Government of the United States and of the State of Florida; and the Charter and Ordinances of the City of <br />Casselberry; and that I am duly qualified to hold office under the Constitution of the State; and that I will well <br />and faithfully perform the duties of Commissioner of the City of Casselberry, Florida, on which I am about to <br />enter, so help me God." <br />The Oath, as administered, was signed by Commissioner Meadows and affirmed by the City Attorney and is <br />attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br />
