INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN SEMINOLE COUNTY AND THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY FOR AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT FUNDING THIS INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT is dated as of the 2�L day of 20�, by and between SEMINOLE COUNTY, a charter county and political subdivision of the State of Florida, whose address is Seminole County Services Building, 1 101 E. l St Street, Sanford, Florida 32771, in this Agreement referred to as "COUNTY," and the CITY OF CASSELBERRY, a Florida municipal corporation, whose address is 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida 32707, in this Agreement referred to as "CITY." WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, Section 163.01, Florida Statutes, as may be amended, authorizes public agencies to enter into agreements with other public agencies in order to serve a public purpose; and WHEREAS, Congress passed the American Rescue Plan Act ("ARPA") and President Biden signed the ARPA into law on March 11, 2021; and WHEREAS, the ARPA, in part, amends Title VI of the Social Security Act by establishing the Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund and the Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund, together the Fiscal Recovery Funds; and WHEREAS, the Fiscal Recovery Funds provide three hundred fifty ($350) billion dollars in emergency funding for eligible state, local, territorial, and Tribal governments; and WHEREAS, the COUNTY's total allocation is in the amount of $91,646,669.00, with COUNTY only having received its initial 50% allocation in the amount of $45,823,334.50; and Interlocal Agreement between Seminole County and the City of Casselberry for American Rescue Plan Act Funding Page I of 12 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Certified Copy - Grant Malo y , .,,77", Seminole County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller Clerk of the Circuit Court an Comptroller;. eCertified at 09/01/2022 10:46:32 -04:00 Seminole County, Florid - eCertified Id: F8BD-CC14-881A �(lJlhnA /• Page 1 of 15
