RESOLUTION 18-3009 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />EXECUTION OF THE TRAINING FACILITY AGREEMENT <br />WITH THE CITY OF NEW SMYRNA BEACH; PROVIDING <br />FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry wishes to renew an existing agreement with the City of <br />New Smyrna Beach for use of New Smyrna Beach Police Department's training facility to enhance the <br />training of the sworn members of the Casselberry Police Department, so as to protect the public peace <br />and safety and preserve the lives and property of the people. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the <br />renewal of the Training Facility Agreement with New Smyrna Beach, attached as Exhibit A, and <br />authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of <br />the provisions ofthis Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section ofthis Resolution proves <br />to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, <br />force, or effects of any other Section or part ofthis Resolution. <br />SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this _day of MO-Jl- h 12018. <br />ATTEST: <br />Donna G.
