RESOLUTION 18-3017 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE AND <br />ACCEPTANCE OF A DRAINAGE EASEMENT AT 12 LOTUS LAKE <br />DRIVE, LOT 3 REDINGTON WOODS, PARCEL ID 08-21-30-5BK-0000- <br />0030; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry has identified the need to create a drainage outfall for <br />Lotus Lake to help reduce potential for flooding impacts around the lake; and <br />WHEREAS, multiple drainage easements from homeowners along Lotus Lake Drive are <br />needed to complete this improvement; and <br />WHEREAS, a Drainage Easement has been executed by the owner of 12 Lotus Lake <br />Drive, Lot 3 Redington Woods, Parcel ID 08-21-30-5BK-0000-0030, as provided in Attachment A; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed said easement and finds it sufficient to meet the needs <br />of the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the <br />conveyance and acceptance of a Drainage Easement at 12 Lotus Lake Drive, Lot 3 Redington <br />Woods, Parcel ID 08-21-30-5BK-0000-0030, as provided in Attachment A, and authorizes the <br />Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution <br />proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the <br />validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />
