RESOLUTION 18-3018 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE AND ACCEPTANCE OF A DRAINAGE EASEMENT AT 14 LOTUS LAKE DRIVE, LOT 4 REDINGTON WOODS, PARCEL ID 08-21-30-5BK-0000- 0040; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry has identified the need to create a drainage outfall for Lotus Lake to help reduce potential for flooding impacts around the lake; and WHEREAS, multiple drainage easements from homeowners along Lotus Lake Drive are needed to complete this improvement; and WHEREAS, a Drainage Easement has been executed by the owners of 14 Lotus Lake Drive, Lot 4 Redington Woods, Parcel ID 08-21-30-5BK-0000-0040, as provided in Attachment A; and WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed said easement and finds it sufficient to meet the needs of the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the conveyance and acceptance of a Drainage Easement at 14 Lotus Lake Drive, Lot 4 Redington Woods, Parcel ID 08-21-30-5BK-0000-0040, as provided in Attachment A, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
