RESOLUTION 10-2208 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 1 TO THE CONTINUING CONSULTING AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL WATER AND SEWER UTILITY ENGINEERING SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND CAMP DRESSER & MCKEE, INC REGARDING CLARIFIER IMPROVEMENTS, GOLF COURSE PUMP STATION ELECTRICAL IMPROVEMENTS & WINTERWOODS PUMP STATION IMPROVEMENTS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." WHEREAS, the City wishes to develop construction ready documents for Clarifier No. 1 and No. 2 upgrades, Golf Course Pump Station Electrical improvements and Winterwoods Pump Station improvements; and WHEREAS, in May 2010, the City Commission approved a continuing consulting agreement with Camp Dresser McKee, Inc. for professional water and sewer utility engineering services, via Resolution 10-21.35; and WHEREAS, Supplemental Agreement No. 1 (for an amount not to exceed $97,710 without prior authorization) provides for the evaluation of the current wastewater collection system and the development of plans for upgrading and improving the collection system for incorporation into the City's Capital Improvements Program; and WHEREAS, the scope of work generally consists of data collection, analysis, site visits, designs, and recommendations for Clarifier No. 1 and No. 2 improvements, Golf Course Pump Station Electrical Improvements and Winterwoods Pump Station Improvement; and should last for a duration of approximately 180 calendar days after the issuance of a Notice to Proceed; and WHEREAS, City staff have reviewed Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to the continuing consulting services contract with Camp Dresser McKee, Inc. and finds it sufficient to meet the needs of the City. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to the Continuing Consulting Agreement for Professional Water and Sewer Utility Engineering Services with Camp Dresser McKee, Inc. (attached as "Attachment A") and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed.
