RESOLUTION 10-2172 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH CROWDERGULF FOR EMERGENCY DEBRIS MANAGEMENT SERVICES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry relies on a supplier to provide emergency debris management services for the immediate removal of debris on the City's streets and highways as a result of a natural disaster; and WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) and received fifteen (15) proposals; and WHEREAS, after a competitive bid selection process, the City's Selection Committee named CrowderGulf as the tertiary supplier of emergency debris management services; and WHEREAS, the terms of the agreement with CrowderGulf are set to become effective on October 1, 2010 and remain in effect for a period of three years until November 1, 2013 with the option of two one-year extensions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the Agreement (Attachment A) with CrowderGulf for emergency debris management services, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 51 7 day of , A.D. 2010. ATTEST: Donna G.
