RESOLUTION 10-2164 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />RELATING TO THE PROVISION OF STREET <br />LIGHTING SERVICES, FACILITIES AND <br />PROGRAMS WITHIN THE INCORPORATED AREA <br />OF THE CITY; ESTABLISHING THE STREET <br />LIGHTING ASSESSMENT ROLL; CONFIRMING <br />THE PRELIMINARY RATE RESOLUTION; <br />PROVIDING FOR THE REIMPOSITION OF THE <br />STREET LIGHTING ASSESSMENTS; PROVIDING <br />FOR COLLECTION OF THE ASSESSMENTS <br />PURSUANT TO THE UNIFORM ASSESSMENT <br />COLLECTION ACT; PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECT <br />OF THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR <br />CONFLICTS; PROVIDING SEVERABILITY AND AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Casselberry (the "City") <br />has enacted Ordinance 09-1301 (the "Ordinance"), which authorizes the <br />imposition of Street Lighting Assessments to fund the provision of Capital <br />Projects and street lighting services, facilities and programs which benefit <br />property within the Street Lighting Service Area; and <br />WHEREAS, the reimposition of a Street Lighting Assessment for street <br />lighting services, facilities and programs each fiscal year is an equitable and <br />efficient method of allocating and apportioning Street Lighting Assessed Costs <br />among Tax Parcels within the Street Lighting Service Area; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to reimpose a street lighting <br />assessment program in the City using the procedures provided by the Ordinance, <br />including the tax bill collection method for the Fiscal Year beginning on October <br />1, 2010; and <br />1 <br />
