RESOLUTION 10-2163 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 2 TO THE STANDARD CONSULTANT AGREEMENT FOR CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL STORMWATER, LAKES MANAGEMENT, AND WATER QUALITY ENGINEERING SERVICES BETWEEN ENVIRONMENTAL RESEARCH AND DESIGN, INC. AND THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY FOR EVALUATION OF QUEEN'S MIRROR LAKE AND THE TRIPLET CHAIN OF LAKES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." WHEREAS, Queen's Mirror and the Triplet Chain of Lakes receive significant pollutant loading from multiple sources, often resulting in diminished water quality; and WHEREAS, a detailed hydrologic and nutrient budget evaluation of these lakes will provide valuable data and analysis that will support the City's efforts to efficiently and effectively address water quality issues; and WHEREAS, Environmental Research and Design, Inc. (ERD) was selected by the City for a Standard Consultant Agreement to provide continuing professional stormwater, lakes management and water quality engineering services for the City; and WHEREAS, ERD has previously satisfactorily completed projects of a similar nature and has provided a proposed project scope for this evaluation in an amount not to exceed $49,983.44; and WHEREAS, City staff have reviewed the proposed Supplemental Agreement No. 2 to the Standard Consultant Agreement with Environmental Research and Design, Inc. and find it sufficient to meet the needs of the City. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves Supplemental Agreement No. 2 to the Standard Consultant Agreement for Continuing Professional Stormwater, Lakes Management, and Water Quality Engineering Services for evaluation of Queen's Mirror Lake and the Triplet Chain of Lakes (attached as "Attachment A") in an amount not to exceed $49,983.44, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution.
