RESOLUTION 10-2160 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH COURTESY TOWING, INC. FOR TOWING, RECOVERY, AND VEHICLE STORAGE SERVICES FOR THE CITY; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry relies on a vendor to provide towing, recovery, and vehicle storage services for all departments within the City; and WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for towing, recovery, and vehicle storage services provision; and WHEREAS, Courtesy Towing, Inc. was selected by the City of Casselberry under a competitively bid selection process for towing, recovery, and vehicle storage services; and WHEREAS, the terms of the agreement with Courtesy Towing, Inc. are set to become effective on September 1, 2010 and remain in effect for a period of three years until September 1, 2013 with the option of two one-year extensions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the Agreement (Exhibit A) with Courtesy Towing, Inc. for City-wide towing services, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED thisday of ( A.D. 2010. ATTEST. Donna G.
