RESOLUTION 10-2146 <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, APPROVING AMENDMENT 2 TO THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY'S <br />WATER SUPPLY FACILITIES WORK PLAN; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />WHEREAS, in 2007, the City's Water Supply Facilities Work Plan (which projected future water <br />demands, identified primary and alternative water sources to meet the projected demands, and established a capital <br />improvement projects schedule) was approved by the City Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, in 2009, it was imperative to update the Work Plan to include specific projects in order to <br />obtain necessary grant/loan funding from the Florida Department of Environmer_tal Protection (FDEP); and <br />WHEREAS, via Resolution 09-2028, an update of said Work Plan (.Amendment 1) was approved that <br />resulted in an award of $3M in Federal grant/loan finding by FDEP to construct the water quality improvements <br />projects identified in the plan; and <br />WHEREAS, FDEP has made additional funding available for water quality improvements projects; and <br />WHEREAS, in order for the City to be eligible to receive this funding, the Water Supply Facilities Work <br />Plan must again be updated to include specific projects that will directly benefit from the additional funding; and <br />WHEREAS, Amendment 2 of the City's Water Supply Facilities Work Plan is being presented for this <br />purpose and City Commission approval. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves Amendment 2 to the <br />Water Supply Facilities Work Plan (attached as Exhibit "A"). <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of <br />this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Sectio ---i of this Resolution proves to be <br />invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any <br />other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />SECTION IV. Effective Date.
