SECTION 1 <br />PURPOSE OF SUPPLEMENT <br />The purpose of this Supplement is to provide for Engineering Services, more <br />specifically itemized herein, for the design, permitting, bidding and construction phase <br />services for the replacement of asbestos cement water mains in a portion of the <br />Tanglewood subdivision in unincorporated Seminole County. The water main <br />replacements will be on Linden Road west of Lake Howell Road, Elsinore Avenue, <br />Maywood Road, Willow Lane, Ivy Lane and North Lakemont Avenue. <br />SECTION 2 <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />2.0 General <br />The Scope of Services is attached as Exhibit 1. <br />SECTION 3 <br />GENERAL SERVICES OF THE ENGINEER <br />3.0 General <br />A. The ENGINEER shall provide all services required to complete each task in <br />accordance with the regulatory requirements in effect on the date of this <br />Supplement to the extent of the scope of work as defined and set out in this <br />Supplement. The ENGINEER shall perform professional services as <br />hereinafter stated in accordance with good engineering practices. <br />B. The ENGINEER will serve as the OWNER's professional engineering <br />representative in those phases of the project to which this Supplement <br />applies and will meet, consult with, and provide advice to the OWNER during <br />the performance of these services. The ENGINEER will perform the services <br />for the City Commission under the direction of the Public Works Director or <br />his designee. The Principal -in -Charge will be Terry M. Zaudtke, P.E., BCEE <br />and the Project Manager will be William C. Goucher, P.E. <br />C. The ENGINEER will attend and participate in regular progress meetings and <br />conferences with the OWNER. <br />D. The ENGINEER represents that all personnel engaged in the work shall be <br />fully qualified. <br />
